After I iMovie2009 and with my Canon HV30 HDV camera with the output result was not happy, I have now bought FCE and a book on the application (and read - Editing Workshop Tom Wolsky).
The videos were recorded in HDV (1440x1080interlaced50) and have the direct connection s.einen 42 "display perfect picture, sharp and crisp.
In FCE I set the following for the import:
Simple configuration
Format: HD
Rate: 25fps
Setting: HDV-Apple Intermediate Codec
The clips are on the hard drive as a Quicktime movie with a message size of 12920x1080. HDV is only 1440x1080? If I use this QT movies on my Mac Mini s.LCD look, the quality is already much worse than the direct view of the camera is.
As the clips while reading already worse than the original, I can not imagine that it is s.den output parameters. Here was also already tried many things
