Hi,
I have recently completed a HV30 Camera increased and is now looking for a way to cut the videos and burn to DVD.
Since my current PC is too old Athlon 2400 + (BJ.2002) I am interested in an updated iMac.
Uses someone of you a HV20 or HV30 in conjunction with the iMac and can report whether iMovie or FCE for the distinction of holiday videos, etc. is suitable. The program must comply with the 25p mode of the camera support, as I in the standard HDV format film wants.
About Tips and warnings I would be very pleased.

Hello,
The combination works flawlessly. I myself an iMac and an HV20 and cut with Final Cut Pro. I have partly been synonymous but the material of the HV20 while on a Macbook with FCE cut synonymous went pretty well (but then just with the Apple Intermediate Codec).
Personally I find iMovie'08 pretty bad, come about not so clear, so I did not last long but synonymous apart.
I knew nothing of what you should prevent your vacation videos with an iMac cutting.
