Frage von rapilino:Hello dear ones,
have an important question:
I want my stuff now and nachcapturen happy but unfortunately the problem is that there is some material in my time code jumps. The first reading I had problems because of it.
Now when I get Nachcapturen always an error message.
"Capture aborted due to lack of continuity in time code"
If the car one way or the s.einer It defaults Handle Length is with the capture? Have in the settings can not find anything like.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Rapilino

I do not know now, what do you use Avid. I only know that no longer offered Liquid Edition. There could be set by setting check whether the capture should be canceled if there are time code jumps. This is actually a default setting for editing software.
With Canopus Edius, which I use now, which is synonymous adjustable.
If you have the Mediia Composer, I would think that it should synonymous go there, but it can not be said with certainty.

Aaaaaahhh,
too early happy ....
Despite the setting acroos Capture timecode breaks it breaks my batch from capture.
Another idea?
Thank you
Antwort von Frank B.:
Must it be batch capture? Try it normally read.
But then you have to cut again. But maybe it's all based on your existing time code values any faster.
What is your cut-procedure? Do you have the material on the first pass in less Resolutiongecaptured and edited and now you want nachcapturen only the clips needed again in high definition format? This is pretty much the main purpose of the batch Capturning. With a reasonably powerful calculator that you have to make but not so.
This allows you to simultaneously work with high resolution.

Hi Frank,
yes, the problem s.der story is that there is a larger Project, 5 films.
Since s.mehreren places worked this part of the material was expected to transport small to make practical.
Now the playout s.and the material is to be re-batched.
Only when reading the timecode jumps were allowed inside.
Now your reference to the settings was the right one, but for some reason ignored Avid some jumps and in other cases he breaks off.
You know next?
Thanks again
Antwort von Frank B.:
Well, I suppose, that the time code jumps are such that the capturing software, the "orientation" loses on the tape. If the TC so at some point on the tape starts again at zero, the tape runs only up to this zero position and the preceding images are ignored. A TC is higher than zero, the software will look after you found of zero level, although you are the recording before this point.
Possibly. because manual rewind helps in the position where is the desired recording.

Dear Frank,
Just found a way.
Must have AutoSequence the clips cut back and capture afterwards. Remains at least get the time code.
Thank you again for your help
