Hello,
in various papers and other forums is synonymous repeatedly the Heliopan IR VIDEO FILTERS 103 highly praised.
Also known as Always on Top Obejktivschutz filter.
I believe this distorts the bluish color performanceins.
What do you about this filter?

Your observation may be true, especially if you weitwinkligen in the field working.
By Dichroic coatings for use on the Weitwin-kelobjektiven it may be, by oblique incidence of light, described the blue-cyan vignetting come.

I have a similar experience with Schneider Tru Cut and Rosco filters made.
On any video cameras make sense only in the field of 680-cover around 720 nm. Most hot-mirror work but only s.720 or 750 and so on CCTV cameras are absolutely ineffective, because the sensor is already a Dichronische coating, which approx. 720 nm begins.
The external 720 or 750 nm for film are thought of not as the sensor, a blocking layer.
Begins not with your 680, you can omit it right.
Best experience I have with the Tiffen made the surprising way dichroische no coating, but the area around 680 with a yellowish-green tint removed. Since this coloring but linear, it is with the White balance fully compensated.
Tiffen seems to have found that a combination of colors gives the (; Far-Red) problems are completely eliminated and not synonymous with no coating Vignettierungsproblematik aufweist.
The cyan tint you get, unfortunately are not synonymous with the White Balance eliminated.
But if that does not begin at 680nm, you need it anyway but just so you catch this addition effect.

This can be easily tested. in hand, and then turn on cam to lift the front off and take off again. On the recording you will see significant color into the blue / greyish, which are not beneficial to the overall impression is.

clear color to blue / greyish Could I recently (March) with my shots (Canon HV30) in Morocco were not identified. There, it was because of the high-IR portion of the sunlight so advantageous to filter. In this respect I am already on the tip of older Wolfgang retrospectively grateful!
As always, you have to stop identifying themselves when a filter is useful. General recommendations I may not synonymous!
Addendum: Winter recordings here in Mainfranken, I must not be synonymous with the IR VIDEO FILTERS 103 filter, as was the year in the early onset of cherry and apple blossom not necessary.
