Hello,
I have an old VCR and a PC with composite and S-Video input. I want my old video tapes to play on the PC. As the only one VCR scart and antenna output, I, like here in the forum on several occasions described the VCR and PC with a SCART to composite adapter cable and plug connected. As I have both software Magix Video Deluxe 2007, Pinnacle Studio 9.3. But I get the audio and video signal to the PC, the preview screen remains black. The path on the antenna output funtioniert, however, but the quality is unacceptable. The composite input from the PC is definitely in order, because I did with the digital camera was reviewed. Next, I have the VCR via the scart adapter cable s.Television and Beamer tried and both devices showed nothing. So I have a different adapter cable (Scart -> Composite and RCA Audio) worried because I thought that the first cable is defective. With the other cable to connect again but not synonymous (for PC, TV, beamer). What is the reason that the connection from the VCR to one of these devices do not work?

Thanks for the reply. My scart adapter cables do not have a (n) switches and therefore the signal is probably in the wrong direction. I will then have a scart adapter with IN / Out switch for sale. Can I use my existing scart cables actually convert, so that the signal is reversed? I have a scart pinout for
