I have a Canon XL1 and search for a micro, which is ideal for interviews or a renewal of the cable for the one it is, but never find what usable. I need it quite urgently, so I naturally s.liebsten about when a possibility is simply to extend the cable: plug (2.5 mm jack for phantomspeißung and 3.5 mm mic-in). is an externally rotating, fairly windy - the person should simply choose the micro in the hand can hold. wär echt happy about each proposal.
Thank you. lg alex

Hi Alex,
3.5 mm jack cables are everywhere, mostly for Headphones. If the cable is not to be so cheap, you have to build it themselves, if necessary, during the 3-pin. Mini Jack Chen is not quite easy.
The issue with the phantom power I did not quite understand. For unbalanced jack connections (XL1), there is such a thing but not?

with the building itself is of course an option, but I've yet I dared not, because I just was not sure if I have any 3.5 mm jack cable can. Otherwise I just hätt both cables separately extended and that's it ...
naja - although I'm not sure (it is now although embarrassing, but what cares) but I always assumed that the 2.5 mm plug on phantom power from the micro because it was a must have, or any other controlled reinforcement. but let me enjoy a better notion of what is unpleasant about when I would rather not, because ichs already quite long, but please. :)
thank meanwhile times for answering.
