Hi Siggi,

This argument would perhaps be interesting if you (such as camcorders) Batteries and other accessories could continue. For a stationary HDD-/DVD-Recorder is not the case.

For this reason I recommend to you my personal favorites: Panasonic. The HDD-/DVD-Recorder this manufacturer has not only high-quality MPEG2 converter, but, apart from DVD-R (W) synonymous to DVD-RAM recording. Spätenstens delay times if you want to watch TV, you do this kind of disk to appreciate. ;-)
