Help with creating a 3D-space

Hello together,

on the Page: www.ayatoweb.com yes, there are lots of tips, with whom can be with AE-board means to create some very interesting effects. I'm just about to myself (a 3D to create multi-screen, I've synonymous) have got done ", then I still lack the appropriate 3D space where the animation takes place.

1. What does the author with the following statement: (; Step 2)

Should I create four new levels, or zero-objects, or should I just (the grid material; draw grid photo) four times in the Time Line?

2. How Autot says the following (; Step3)

Create a New Solid into a New Composition.
Apply Effect> Render> Fractal Noise.
Apply Effect> Stylize> Glow ....

So: What is a New Solid? Does he think a solid color??

And 3 (;) Step 4 I do not understand how the dummy grid can be exchanged against the footage created in Step 3:

Select the layer of a grid material.
It replaces for the Material Fractal Of STEP3.
From The Fractal Composition in a Project Window,
Drag and drop to the layer of Grid in the timeline window.
You can Replace the material.


I'm sitting hours s.diesem 3D space, but I do not get it out. Incidentally, I work with AE CS4, the tutorial is for an older version, but it basically works the same way.
If someone could help me .....?

The grid graph is used as a reference "path" --

The Glow Noise graphic is s.diesem "Path oriented shows.

.....................

This is like a "spline" Animation in Cinema 4D for example, or the effect "Snap To trail along" in PhotoShop to understand.

still have 2 questions about this: You write:

Does that mean in plain language, I prefer the output grid four times in the timeline? I will draw the grid only once pure and then distribute it to 4 levels? If this is so, how's going? I have here, although the thick AE_Handbuch, but since it is not there.

And then you write:

How does that go exactly?

Does the way that I look at the transformation in attitudes simply the noise / glow element transfer? So entries manually?

The graph is mapped to all levels

The noise Glow synonymous with history, then connect the layers.
If using drag and drop function so go Maki and connect the effect with the created levels.
.............

I like the out of the Page've seen .... will be only of a "cube" space s.dessen create "Linen" then the glow or the noise effect long run.

On VideoCoPilot Net synonymous nen find some of these effects.
The effect is because you have to understand that you can specify shapes as paths and then s.denen Effects / Graphics or particles can be animated along.
