Frage von einstreuner:Hello,
I have a Panasonic SDR-SW20 for Sports / underwater and take pictures in 16:9 format. The clips are considered. Mod files.
-> How do I import these files as easy as possible and in the best possible quality in Final Cut Pro (Final Cut Pro)?
My current way is the following:
- SD Card and infect auto import into iMovie
- Clips in Final Cut Pro.
- Sequence> right mouse button> settings
- 704x576 (aspect ratio: Own) [according to manual image size is 704x576 - it is not there whether 4:3 or 16:9]
- Square & anamorphic
- Halbbilddominanz: without
- Compressor: MPEG-4 video [data compression of the camera mpeg2]
- Clip> right click> Object Settings> Format
- Clip: anamorphic anklicken
Questions:
-> Is there a better / faster way?
-> If I had a higher quality if I record 4:3? [motion picture: 400k (4:3), 350k (16:9)]
-> Actually, I wanted to use Final Cut Express, but there seems to be no manual setting for the image to give? (iMovie recognizes the format auto)
Thank you!

I would use visual hub and thus the mod files in quicktime dv convert. alternatively anamoprhptisch or 16:9. without without with iMovie and Final Cut Pro with nem mpeg4 codec to work.
and with the quality ... anamoprhotisches is a 16:9 format, which at a chip designed for 720x576 is bruised, and then in the play off will be rectified at 1024x576. Theoretically, the difference in your quality loss, purely practically the first time depends on which medium you have your film anschaust. so far my semi.
