Hello,
I have a few years ago my VHS tapes digitized and then because of the small space as a Divx saved!
Some VHS are now gone, so I will not repeat Digitizer can.
Now to my problem:
The picture quality is very good, but the sound with a metallic noise / distortion and background sounds a little plate. This is with safety on the Divx conversion back!
How can I contribute to the noise / distortion removed without influencing the votes? Can I change the voices so that they no longer metallic sound but warmer?
For editing I use Audition 1.5
I hope you can help me, I have a lot s.dem material.

In what bitrate / codec which is because the soundtrack? If this has been compressed too much, because then I see no chance.

Hello,
the sound is as MP3 96 kBit / s encoding. I have just a little bit with the low-pass filter and the clink rummgespielt at normal volume almost wegbekommen. The voices are no longer metallic, but a little dull! If on the other hand, what would make without the distortion comes back would be the sound saved!
