Infoseite // How do I bring this film s.besten to DVD?

Frage von 0001001:

Hello,

have a wedding film of VHS to the PC.
The film has the following characteristics:
- MPEG-2
- Size: 5.1 GB
- Video Resolution: 720x576
- Video Bitrate: 9570 kbps
- Audio Bitrate: 128 kbps

My question: How do I get this thing as simple as possible on a DVD? I need not elaborate menu or other accessories. Habs mal suits tried with Nero but the film is not on a DVD.
Which program would you take it all as simple as possible to bring to a DVD?

Vielen Dank schon mal!

0001001 Hello!

Your MPEG file you can with a burning program or burn a DVD authoring program.

Problem is with you at the moment the size of 5.3GB, so you either need to burn a double DVD (if appropriate burner available) or your video bitrate of 9570 kbps with new encoding runterbringen something should.

This video bitrate is for the source material much too high chosen because VHS has not the quality for such a high bitrate.
Here you can safely save and bring the file size to less than 4.3 GB. A value of 6000-7000 should be fully sufficient kbps (depending on the encoder quality / Canapus, Cinema Craft, MainConcept, ...).

Nightfly.

I believe that some (standalone) players probably already have problems with the DVD at such a high bit rate will be.

Old DVD player can be partly just to cope with up to a rate of kbps 8000th That is, if the DVD should run independently of your player, is synonymous to note that value (yes higher than the of) I have mentioned area.
Problems could then be:
- DVD will not play
- Only sound is played
- Juddering Picture

And: The more dirty the source (VHS), ie, the more noise in the picture, the more disturbing is this effect in the MPEG-compression, is transmitted to the high data rates, especially for the noise as image information. Low data rates of around 5000 kbps contribute here as a kind of "smoothing". In addition, as you would the movie onto a blank 5er get, for example with Nero.
