the DVD!

Moin,
Now if your DVD is not copy protected then it is yes. Then comes the synonymous. Furthermore, it has no subtitles, and then yes synonymous multiple audio tracks which are all nested inside the VOB files. So you have in your VOB's on the DVD and an audio only video. So just copy the VOB file that contains your sequence on the hard drive and change the VOB extension to MPG. That's it.

VOB files are Mpeg2 with sound, but multiplexed, that is intertwined. When should no longer be cut, it is s.besten, only to de-mux, and Picture and Sound until the DVD program back together. Should Mpeg2 with avi files are edited together in Premiere, would have first to be unpacked first: quality loss!

Hi Daniel,
in the video forum recently had someone a similar concern:
Can you convert a DVD recorded in AVI file?
