Frage von geid0r:Hello!
How do I make a white balance with a black and white viewfinders in general? Eg s.einer JVC GY-500 or GY-5000, without an external monitor.
Around with the LCD display?

Antwort von Markus:
Basically you can with a black-and-control only shoot into the blue and hope that the recording right. When the LCD is the only color image output on the ground, then it is in any case already better than a black and white viewfinders. After all, since color can be seen.

?
what has this to do with display?
a manual white balance is done as follows:
1) white balance set to A or B are (not preset to use).
2.) pure white surface (eg of write-block) in about 2-3 meters in front of the camera can hold.
3) simultaneously with the camera vollfächig the white area in the building take.
4.) button for white balance, press and wait for the camera in the viewfinder display "OK" or similar writing. Some cameras write synonymous 5200K or 5.2K or so. This is then the measured color temperature.
ready.
a full-color viewfinder is never better than a b & w viewfinder tube. only incidentally.
