Infoseite // How is the timecode of the SonyHVR-Z1E in Sound Recorder?

Frage von felix123:

Hello!

This is my first post in this forum. I used the search function and find an answer to my question. It would be nice of you if I would get a clue:

I have a SonyHVR-Z1E and wants to buy an audio recorder for the recording, the TASCAM HD-P2. The HD-P2 receives two inputs Time Code: XLR-3 on a port linear timecode (LTC) and a BNC connector video timecode. In the instructions is this: "Over the BNC input, you can use the various video timing signals for audio synchronization, including composite or Blackburst-NTSC/Pal and the tri-level sync format of HDTV systems."

The Z1 is the usual video signals from outputs (A / V, S-video, composite). But there is no separate time code output.

Like now comes the time code of the Z1 on the Sound Recorder? What output should I do? Tap Timecode is always mitgetliefert with the video signal? So, for example, Can I connect the composite output with a suitable cable with the BNC input of the audio recorder?

Thank you for all the support

Meanwhile, I know the answer: The Z1 spends no time code. The new Canon XL-H1, can do that
