times to please help. Must be with me tonight, meet someone, the proud Mac owner. I have the data that we want to sift through on a USB hard drive with the NTFS file system.
The question now is whether the Mac the data on the hard drive and will open (JPGs), if we do s.den USB connector? Or does it not? Someone knows?

Nope, the Mac is not NTFS formatted filesystems read.

I've personally never tried, but according MacOSXHints
(http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050521110452194&lsrc=osxh) should be read for at least 2 years work. Always assuming the file is not encrypted.
Write access works from royalty technical reasons probably still not.
