Frage von Riki1979:Dear filmmakers,
I have now ordered an additional microphone for my camera, which I would like to fix it with "hot shoe adapter" on a microphone stand.
But now, the hot shoe adapter normal "Camera thread" which is from the microphone stand, however, slightly larger and wider.
I think this would be just right adapter:

LG Ricardo!

Hello Riki1979,
I'm not so sure. What is it for you "normal" thread? The standard of the kompackt cameras? I think that are 1 / 4 "and not 1 / 3". Then there is "5 / 8" (off) to 3 / 8 "(A)". That to me is not very strong statement. should be if (AUS) and the external thread (A) inside the thread, then the thread is what you see clearly on the bigger picture than what you can not see (if you know what I mean). You almost vise with this adapter, the larger threaded into the camera and the small thread is on the tripod. Is that so? The description is synonymous not very clear. Can you measure your thread? Would that work?
