Frage von Rolf Dieter:Hello
I use the program Ulead MovieFactory 4 SE, and now have to import some clips of a DVD, which was in turn burned with a regular DVD hard disk recorder. If you play normally from the DVD in the player, the sound is present.
Now that I've imported the footage with the above-named program, while running the Picture, but the sound does not exist. You can import synonymous when you import the sound separately anywhere, that is separated from the Picture. Under the Audio tab, only Dolby Digital 1 channel is available as information.
The sound s.Notebook running normally, so if you wrote a song or something happens. Have I done something wrong or is there a way to import the sound with or do I need to adjust anything in the program? But since I found no options.

experimental dochmal with Chopperxp individual parts to mark, rip them (after the vobdatei) simply rename the file to an mpg and then import it into Ulead too.

Thanks for the hint. I've loaded the program times and a sequence are processed appropriately. Save as mpeg is not directly possible, but to my knowledge, it is enough if one behind the file name yet. Mpeg writes. Is it correct?
Unfortunately, the test video is shown after the re-imported as mpeg synonymous with no sound in the preview window. Could it s.einer setting the DVD drive, or are just s.PC? I just checked all volume settings and found nothing that could be the cause.

Could it be that the sound is heard s.Notebook of video files while importing only on certain Lautpsrecher too? Have enhanced audio features under different speaker setups. Currently, the desktop speaker setup set. But I can not imagine that it is due.
PS When playing the videos on this chopper program started to sound optimal. So something seems to go wrong when importing, if I use MovieFactory 4 SE. In the preferences but I can adjust just as we have seen no great audio options to get there eventually resolve the problem.

Has anyone another idea where the problem lies in my case?
Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4 SE's can import from the DVD drive. There will be a conversion to MPEG, but then when editing and playback in the program no longer sound so far. This has not been synonymous with imported or it could be s.einer program setting? But unfortunately I found no selectable options to adjust to that.
Bissl am desperate because I would have liked to cut my videos with the Ulead program, but probably I have to now consider the videos to read from the standard DVD player in the program. Had previously via DVD recorder because of the hard drive and then burned to DVD.

Hello
I check the audio format, as I put the DVD into the drive and then select GSpot about this?
And how can I see what audio codec does my DVD? Is it somewhere for reading?

Hello,
There is meanwhile a solution? The moment I have the same problem with Studio 10 Video I'm trying to import a DVD-R to which I have previously dubbed the film an analog Hi8 bands.
The DVD import function of Ulead VideoStudio works as far as synonymous. The file is in mpeg format, and this when I'm running a DVD player, both sound play as synonymous video.
Now I want to edit the file in VideoStudio 10th When I lay it on the clip but the video track, missing the sound.
Is there a solution for this problem?

... in the meantime, there is a solution? The handling of this DVD is not optimal because it is highly compressed content to a distribution medium. - The following options (in that order) I remembered this:
1. Hi8 recording using A / D converters digitize again and reprocess the resulting DV-AVI file with WAV audio problems in any program.
2. Latest Software beginners assume that supports the DVD-Import inc Dolby Digital (Note: Some Programs need for a purchased plug-in).
3. Contents of the DVD rip to PC, demux video and audio, audio in WAV (48 kHz, uncompress 16 bit, stereo) and then import only the video-editing program.
