Infoseite // Import of Project Pro 2.0 -> CS3

Frage von Sammura:

Hello everybody!

I currently work with Pro 2.0, but the function "Export to DVD" does not use - why, the devil knows.

I would like to see, therefore CS3 growth and the existing project file, with the Pro 2.0 has been created in CS3 import.

Is that so easily, or do I need a little advance notice?

Thanks already times in advance!

Antwort von jazzy_d:

Go easy. If anything, the project can then no longer be opened in 2.0.

Antwort von Sammura:

hey, thanks for the quick response! why the dvd-export from pro 2.0 do not work you can probably not answer me, or?

Antwort von jazzy_d:

So from the boat is not :-). Will you "Window -> DVD-layout" or "File -> Export -> output to DVD?

Space

Antwort von Sammura:

The latter ...

The problem is that no preference what I do, the button "Record" never comes up.

Antwort von jazzy_d:

I guess times you want "on record: Disc" and have no disc in the drive.

Now, however, my hot tip:
The burning engines in the Schnittproggis are in most cases for tonne. Do you create a folder (on recording: folder). This folder (DVD VOB files, IFO, etc.) then you can s.PC with a free software (menu, jump points, etc.). Take then a clever Brennproggi (such as Nero or ImgBurn -> free) and burn the DVD's data (especially the whole VIDEO_TS folder) as a video DVD.

Antwort von Sammura:

The idea came to me already synonymous, but says when you try the files in a folder to write the message: "The file size exceeds 4.7 GB" ... which is totally stupid because my ext. 1000 GB hard drive capacity which has 800 GB free

Antwort von Debonnaire:

It is indeed not about the free disk space on your calculator, but it is that your exported Project DVD is greater than for a DVD5 (single layer) potential 4.knapp7 GB would be! How long is because of the exported movie?

Space

Antwort von Sammura:

The film has a length of 1 h 40 min.

The problem is, however, synonymous, if I only part of the film, about 10 minutes, save it as a separate sequence and would like to burn to DVD. Therefore, I believe less that with the length of the film has to do.

Mach mal screenshots of all the relevant registers your export settings. Maybe I see something!

Antwort von Sammura:

even a screenshot when trying to export as a DVD (you can see that the button "Record" is inactive. Name: PPro2.0.jpg

Then another with the export settings for video (via Adobe Media Encoder). Name: ExporteinstellungVideo.jpg

Antwort von Debonnaire:

According to your second screenshot you want a DVD (disc) and burn to your hard disk is not exported.

Do you have a recordable, ie, blank DVD in the DVD-RW drive and it does this DVD-RW drive for burning usually of DVDs? All Drivers and Codecs ok, on your PC?

Choose your times to select "Folder" instead of "disc", so that your project as a VIDEO_TS folder on your hard disk is stored. This folder, you can then burn your program-confidence in the header section of a DVD to be descriptive and thus draw a running DVD!

So it is certainly not synonymous work. Windows Media with 1280x720 does not fit on a video DVD for the living room player!

Yes, I really put a regular 4.7 GB DVD-R disc into the DVD Burners. Synonymous already had a DVD disc from another manufacturer tested with the same (bad) result. The DVD Burners works flawlessly (for example, with Premiere Elements 7.0, there are no problems out directly on DVD).

This I have already tried synonymous (see screenshot), but is synonymous then the button "Record" inactive. The status says "Ready" ... although I still have not even begun?

What setting should because it aptly made when Windows Media 1280x720 is too big?

Antwort von jazzy_d:

In a video for the living room DVD player belongs mpeg2 with 720x576.

Do you have before you with the "DVD Creation" have begun to "cut window: Sequence 1" or "Program: Sequence 1" is clicked?

I have it with both windows before I tried with the DVD creation began.

Even a little note ... If the window for DVD Exports opens, under "Settings" 720x576 default - I can change it not because the "Settings" button is inactive (see screenshot). [/ I]

I am now just about to install CS3. News Pro 2.0 is still installed. Do I first uninstall Pro 2.0 or CS3, I can directly "overhead" to install?

Antwort von jazzy_d:

It will not install over it. " It works both on the same system.

Antwort von Sammura:

Thanks, works beautifully both Programs (Pro 2.0 + Pro CS3) run in parallel.

I would be happy on the Video-DVD in addition to the main movie a separate section / Choice, which can then include a photo show.

These two sections, ie main film and photo show will be selected separately. Is this possible and if so, how?

FYI: The DVD + Menu will then be created in Encore
