Frage von alekko!:Hi, can anyone help me with this problem or maybe someone knows?
I use my TV card (Nvidia GeForce 4200) to discuss the TV output on my television
To watch movies in full screen. Until now, the 2 years has worked well.
Recently, however, will cause an extremely annoying bug:
When I start a video file on the PC is first on the television the resolution
s.The customized video file, which had until now always the case, which now only takes s.The
30 seconds (previously 1 / 3. The time).
If now appears the real picture, it will be displayed incorrectly.
One can in the bottom quarter of the image
"Stripes recognize" the images out of the center of the image display (see picture).
Thus, it is impossible for me to watch movies on the television to continue.
Struck me is synonymous nor that this occurs only in certain formats.
DVDs (ie mpeg2) to run correctly in full screen while I divx and xvid
can not play properly.
I've tried to resolve the following problem:
- Uninstalling the Nvidia graphics card drivers (only via software -> uninstall)
and installing an older and newer version later
- Uninstall and reinstall of all the video codecs (divx xvid, etc.)
The problem here was that I could not seem to completely remove them,
because I could continue to play divx and xvid files, despite the removal.
(Has anyone here vll nen tip for the complete removal?)
Unfortunately, both were unsuccessful.
I had recently installed directX 9c, it can perhaps be related?
Nen Can anyone give me advice, what I might try it, I am now at a loss :-(

- What service pack
- Which version of Direct X

Look in time for Nvidia guru who has ne number of tools to resolve all the risk, or walk the way (like me - but I caution then yell as often as I juice) and shave with the drivers on ner Beta Version.

Inziwschen I know what it is (I have so long to format and gradually installed various Programs until I've figured it out)
So it is s.Direct X 9.0c (and what I've figured out that it appears almost exclusively in GF 4200 or 4xxx on graphics cards, Nvidia cares is only nen damn about their older products, zero service under the motto "buy it ne recent, "I would not be surprised if you have such a synonymous).
One can easily draufmachen of the latest Nvidia graphics drivers (I have and that works) unless one omit directX 9c (which admittedly is very annoying);
One solution is to install Windows XP with the SP2 directly with, as dx9c should already be there and it works for me at the moment.
It may be synonymous to the different versions of dx9.0c there, I 4.09.0000.0904 And so it goes (Start-Run-> dxdiag)
So try the first time ne new DX version on it to make rüberzuspielen and then with caution, the latest SP2. Bei mir hats helped.

So I can not imagine that a connection can there be gibt.Das problem but only some of the ForceWare driver versions (no preference as old) are about something bughaft hardware video overlay (which in your case, and is used so be realized by the display driver must) - but usually only takes a few unofficial or beta drivers.
Therefore s.besten take the latest, official:
http://www.nvidia.de/object/winxp-2k_archive_de.html
and above all respect the fact that
DXVA (Direct X Video Acceleration) resolved, the latest version so never hurts, from the download version 9.0c (.0904) August 2006: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx? FamilyID = A1788990-5E11-4AE2-B5E7-CC576822AED4 & displaylang = en
And instead of taking better MediaPlayer9 the 10s because bugbereinigter:

Especially with DivX synonymous problems can help the following:
Programs-> DivX> DivX Codec> utility to configure the decoder-> Decoder-> Video Settings-> "advanced hardware overlay" Use this time to try testhalber with and without the option.

I have had a similar problem today:
I was so leitchtsinnig Win XP Service Pack 3 to install the graphic overlays and since then my NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS does not work anymore: The Windows Media Player while the window displays a video in MPEG format, but not full screen. If neither the PowerDVD window works, nor the full-screen mode.
Before installing the service pack 3 has the longest time, everything is working fine.
It is synonymous use is the installation of the latest NVIDIA drivers nothing.
Who knows what the cause is and how the error is corrected.
