Thank you! Hi,
Whether the tape is broken you can easily determine if you should connects the camera s.ein TV (; play so no problem) and the film. Its all there and no interference: the tape is OK.
Even on the preview monitor of the action: Do you see when you play the whole movie without error, which can not be broken tape.

s.fernseher camera or s.lcd of the film is properly played. But why the error occurs with magix? I do not understand it ... is it weird that at the 1 the recording experiment worked beautifully on the PC but I made an error in processing and had to repeat it, and since then the problem is that the film is taken always incomplete ...
Magix synonymous the directory where all files are saved, I've already deleted several times but nothing brought them all ... now I have several times tried to dub the film ...
somebody has an idea?

VLD falters occasionally, when are there in the video timecode jumps So far no problems with it, but ok, it's worth a try.
(and these are formed when is taken to a new, non vorbespurtes DV tape). No, they arise when attention has been (and hergespult, for example, to view the recording) and the newly recorded pieces s.schon existing material is not properly recognized.

That's right, I was just too lazy to write in whole and to have it on the formula "unbespurtes new tape cut. :-)

I have the film now included with the program again and it worked. The program has indicated 5 frames dropped. What does that mean why does this happen?
And now I have 157 individual files. Is this normal? How can I change that now with Magix?

I do not know so well ... And why magix spins around so funny? Never had the problem and the tape was a whole new synonymous.

Sorry, I have given you the wrong answer. You write you had 157 files and I have equated files with clips. Actually, you'd have to after you import the movie have only 1 file (;) an avi file. Every time you restart the camera you get a new clip. You have to have a little bit with (like the help of Magix, search for Timeline)-The switch is located under the Vorschaufensster - As I said, if you have 157 files instead of clips, I understand nothing more synonymous.

Hello Chris,
I have the film now included with the program again and it worked. The program has indicated 5 frames dropped. What does that mean why does this happen?
Dropped frames will be created if dropped frames when recording somewhere (; = frames (); = dropped). This usually happens when the calculator is not quickly process the incoming data stream may be lost or for other reasons, the individual received.
This happens for example if the calculator except the synonymous capturing something else makes (, antivirus, background processes, etc.). But 5 cash dropped frames are usually not necessarily a broken leg. If a scene has really suffered visible damage, you simply need to capture again.
And now I have 157 individual files. Is this normal? Yes, this is so far normal, as these WinDV "Automatic scene separation", which is synonymous listed on the website of the program:
automatic AVI splitting according to the timestamps on DV recordings - every video sequence can be saved into unique file This means that WinDV every time there is a timecode jump s.tape recognizes creates a new file. This timecode jumps occur - as already mentioned - for example, if you) point to a new tape are capturing and between shots look-and herspulst (; for example, to the recordings or possibly synonymous, if you switch the camera between shots (; da threaded then usually the tape off and will again).
Can be prevented by the way, by placing the tape again with one run timecode in one piece "vorbespurt", meaning that they appeal the tape and then (; with closed lens) absorbs up to the end of the tape. The time code is in a consistent manner on the tape and remains synonymous available during dubbing.
You can use the automatic scene detection in WinDV but synonymous off by clicking the button "Config" and then on "Discontinuity threshold" type the value 0. Then the whole movie is (as far as may be stored) in a file.
The 157 files should now match the scenes, however, that you have recorded on your tape (, so once per start / stop a File), which may possibly have an advantage synonymous, because thus you have for each scene a file which may in cut is helpful.
How can I change that now with Magix? As with the 2008 VdL exactly works, I can not tell you, unfortunately, synonymous, because I do not have the program in action. The files must ultimately only be imported into the program. Maybe this even goes by you rüberziehst the files from an Explorer window, drag and drop into the VdL window. If this helps ensure the user manual or the help under the keyword "import next".
