Hello all together,
I'm trying now to incorporate into the matter of video editing. For this I would however still like to read one synonymous Turtorial / Instructions on how to see the film from DV tape to the computer gets. I've always found that there are two ways:
1. A loader as WinDV
2. A video editing program from which you can capture the stream
Which way is the better?
I would also still looking for a video editing program? What is recommended (freeware!)

The program is not just the coronation but the "Windows Movie Maker should accompany all WinXP here. If you infect your camera via FireWire or USB s.den PC should become part of a dialog box where you're asked whether you want the video with the Movie Maker add.

But synonymous miniDV camcorder.
I think it was synonymous not necessarily mean velocity, but the Programs, etc. are still largely focused on the video transmission via FireWire. That makes things easier.
In short: The tip switch on FireWire, is spot-on.

At constant high speeds USB 2.0 makes happy time, a short break ... Do you want to copy such data to an external hard drive, you notice that at all. DV - video, however, requires a constant stream of data, otherwise there is' Lost frames ".

Hi All,
Firewire is the way to go prefers the digital video data. Therefore it does not require a drivers nor the data must be converted for transport over the cable connection (see USB-Tunneling) method. USB is more suitable for transferring of digital photos.
