this issue occurs here in the forum almost every 2 days.
With USB, it is with the GS 35 indeed possible (not recommended) the film with the included software capturing the back but unfortunately did not make my knowledge, only few like eg Canon MV-45i.

... and what do I do with the connection as a webcam? Have Win XP.
I'm sensitive to any reference, I live in Bolivia, that is about behind the moon, here None knows nothing, and plenty of it. Unfortunately, I have the instructions in Engl + CD only, is incomprehensible to me.

as a webcam, I would abuse it does not necessarily mean there are already so cheap webcams about 20 ¬.
If only do it as eg via Windows Netmeeting
It is sometimes synonymous via firewire (there were no drivers require a SonyHC (90 customer of me makes it so))
Since all models with large Panasonic webcam promoted (Panasonic.de)
it should be synonymous with USB no problem, drivers would be on the CD.
