Hello,
I want to grow me a AVCHD camcorder, probably the Panasonic SD300. After thoroughly researching this and other forums I've now realized that liquid I (, (!) Native editing, multiple tracks, only modest effects, color correction can forget), synonymous if I sought-1000, - Euro for a new cut PC-would extend a bit ... or am I mistaken?
Good, WoWu writes here in the forum relating to interesting and always speaks again of future possibilities in Win7 and finally optimized NLEs ... But well, sometime in the future precisely.
So I am looking for a cut program for intermediate cut. I know that to be the Canopus HQ codec pretty much the best, that would be so Edius Neo.
I cut (, SD) at the moment with Magix VdL 2008, with whom I can cope well, there may be intermediate-cut opportunities with the latest version or Magix Video Pro X 1.5?
What alternatives are there's more to explore?
And maybe someone can give me an example of a hardware compilation, which would be needed for intermediate-cut?
Would be nice if someone there could help me.

Recently, there were 20,000 free licenses for PD7 Ultra of the PC world, I have tested me worried, not at the program and been so bad.

For Nativschnitt may come into Vegas or Premiere Pro CS4 question.

So ok, I'm already convinced, PD7 test out times, as well Edius Neo and s.besten synonymous Vegas. Premiere CS4 is even (as a student version, ¬ 474.81) still very expensive ... And, well, professionally,

If anybody Testclip perhaps one of the Panasonic HDC-300 handy? AVCHD AVCHD is not supposed to be equal of that model and I find nothing spontaneous about Google.
And my Magix 2008 Pros will not import. Mts files. "The file format of [fileName] can not be read. Please make sure that the affected disk is not full or write-protected. If you do not have permissions to read and write in this path, please contact s.den administrator. "
I'm not sure if it is perhaps s.den security settings of Win7 RC1. At least ichs'm running as administrator, the folder is not read. (; Windows Media Player plays the file without any problem, incidentally.)
I remember having what schomal regarding the importing of. Mts files even read here in the forum, but just do not find it again ... could someone help me there?

@ motion group: Too late read. VDL had already installed 15 under XP. Test it again later with VDL 2008 under Win7, thanks.
A short Conclusion of me. First PowerDirector 7 was my turn. Has "beginner-like" than Magix. In fact, hiding behind more features and possibilities than expected. I am still on vacation Filmer-beginners-oriented. But: the Testclip is still seen as a halfway film.
Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. UI looks outdated, may be synonymous s.XP. Testclip: nice slideshow. Seems after the first impression of some functions have more than Magix, but looks confusing.
Since my 2008er Magix VDL will not, I'll find a newer test version. Spaßenshalber erstmal Pro X. Well, two preview monitor, very nice correction, improved color. Otherwise, at first glance like VDL. Does the. Mts to importer, (convert, but in what?). After the 2.5-fold clip duration: an error message without text. No converted video. Very nice. In the Magix folder there is a. Mpg file with an appropriate name. Only 100 MB instead of the original 120th Import does not work, "The file format can not be read". WMP does not play, but VLC. Original File: subjectively slightly faster than in slideshow Vegas.
Then just yet VDL 15th Again the question, convert it to. This time klappts, mpg file is 105 MB. Pure Play is at least faster than unconverted into PD7. Might be necessary, perhaps even work on my current PC with. I then export again as uncompressed video (; Avi Raw) tested. The 1-minute clip then weighs proud 9 GB. Subjectively determine no difference between all three versions, but the clip had as low-light recording the already significant noise.

Take rather have a 600, - Euro Calculator and building you a Canopus Storm HD or HD Spark one (and I think for the Storm again there is a special action, including Edius 5:11 for about 800, - Euro available in an older capture card or editing software). The HD Spark (and only HDMI output) is supported by the cheaper synonymous Edius Neo. By doing this you'll surely happier than with the Gewurschtel to AVCHD Direktschnitt!

A small addition to my previous post:
The HD or HD-Spark Storm are hardware cards that allow for real-time display via HDMI to a third (; bie dual monitor mode) monitor. The HD-Storm, unlike the HD-Spark synonymous record over HDMI signals and capture on demand the same in the HQ codec.
The use of the cards but not absolutely mandatory. The conversion of AVCHD files, the software takes over. The converter is necessary in Edius and Edius Neo synonymous in already included. So I just have the synonymous use of this software in order to benefit from the HQ codec. My previous post was so little misleading.
