Frage von Michel666:Hi!
Mal ne question: what is your opinion,
the most common
format for video clips s.PC? Quicktime?
WMV?
AVI?
DIV X??
Codec ...?
I need to export s few short shots from AVID and send one to the U.S., even to Japan. But does not know exactly what I want as s.Besten export it so that it always runs smoothly.
Erstmal quality is not so important. Will only work once! :-)
Thank you! Perhaps her next to me so you can help.

Antwort von Wiro:
Hello,
I assume that it is in your short shots to PAL material.
Take WMV 768x576 square pixels 25 fps and a bitrate of 1024 kbit / sec.
The U.S. and Japan can be read in any PC.

Antwort von Schleichmichel:
Since there are as synonymous for Mac Quicktime for Windows, I would recommend you as the best container Quicktime.
WMV and AVI on the Mac, make (synonymous, if you have asked only for PC, you never know) occasionally for trouble.
But for maximum compatibility you export in s.besten. Mpg! It even runs on the Amiga, if need be.
Antwort von Hogar:
Yes, MPEG1 is synonymous in my experience, the compatible format, which I know. And that can be synonymous to get 720x576 or 640x480. It does not necessarily need to be 352x288 or 320x240.

I agree with the opinions to MPEG1 and WMV. I put on my site and WMVs which can be read worldwide.
Need for Quicktime s.PC not just a player? I once had installed a PC and since then my nerves always around when a QT video is started (Update to Quicktime blablabla - of course not free!).
Antwort von beiti:
It's the same old song: Windows Media needed an extra player on the Mac, Quicktime for the PC.
RealVideo requires additional players on both systems and is therefore neutral, but that's not really better. It does not change the fact that most computer-DAC's with the installation of a player are overtaxed.
Runs well no getting s.MPEG1. Although a very old format, but that's its advantage in terms of compatibility.

Huh ... here are already many correct answers!
Many Thanks! So from the belly I had chosen me synonymous for Quicktime. Although Braucht nen player, but I assume that nowadays EVERYONE who has used fairly regularly nen Calculator, such a plan.
But the reference to MPEG1 synonymous, I find good ...
I will when I'm back s.Schnittsystem, something to look everything can be exported and what s.besten looks.
In addition:
Yes, it's PAL material.
And no, it must not be available in full size (768x576).
It's all about to translate the clip (Japanese-> English, English-> German, etc.). Synonymous times so I know what it is (are interviews) ... :-)

So from the belly I had chosen me synonymous for Quicktime. Although Braucht nen player, but I assume that nowadays EVERYONE who has used fairly regularly nen Calculator, such a plan. I estimate that less than 10% of Windows users who installed Quicktime. This is what matters but did not. What matters is whether you have addressed the people of it installed.

and QT. Why? It's simple: MPEG-1 95% of all PC and Mac can easily play. Pros, the 10%, estimates the beiti, makes 105%. What more could you want :-)
Antwort von Markus:
I will when I'm back s.Schnittsystem, something to look everything can be exported and what s.besten looks. Export the video from your editing program for DV-AVI, you download the free Windows Media Encoder, available and then compress the file after WIROS specifications. Komprimiergeschwindigkeit and results will please you. ;-)
Pros, the 10%, estimates the beiti, makes 105%. 105% compatibility you pay with a filled to 200% e-mailbox. As a receiver, I would not find so great.

Why do not you ask your recipient just as she's happy to have it .......
