Hi folks. I have a Panasonic GS17 and would like to buy me for the forthcoming touring holiday a second battery.
Now I've read that Lithium Batteries for about 3 years: first to show effects of fatigue, synonymous when one has hardly used it. Is that true? If so, this would mean that I'm going to use an expensive battery in the near future only one / two times and after a few years, he still gives up the ghost. Then I could throw the money out the window like yes!
Offers itself as a stopgap measure to buy a Noname battery-better quality (eg, Hama) to? Or is this just a bad investment?
Greeting. Cheekybit

Lithium Ion Batteries are - so my experience - usually spontaneously and without warning very long way. That is, the voltage under load break at some point, the camera switches off. As a battery for lighting the Christmas crib or doll's house, however they may provide their service for years ... (NB: the Sony batteries have so practical contact sockets in which the Märklin / Fischertechnik mini plugs fit ...)
3 years to come, may be more or less synonymous - Adds halt as everything in life of the circumstances.
No-name batteries from reputable sources are certainly an alternative if the camera is no specific requirements: eg Sonywith the info-chips. When dealers buy certainly no problem, man can indeed take the camera.
At ebay is of course a corresponding s.Platz prudence never fail, but if the list of satisfied buyers that synonymous with your model and perform the verlagte price is not too unrealistic, why not.
Ah, yes: Double posting is Uerige bääh!

Hi Kiara.
Very briefly: Was an accident with the double-posting. I am only noticed too late that I have asked my question in the wrong forum section. Therefore, the double issue. FORGIVENESS! :-)
Perhaps someone still gives me yes or a tip?

Hi, MW start Lithium Batteries aging with the date of manufacture (oxidize) and adopt a 'lifetime' of three years seems to me to be realistic (after) is then a gamble. If I remember correctly s.einen articles, there has been recommended when not in cold storage to slow down the aging process. Available with no-name products (synonymous for Sony camcorder, for example here: http://www.save-it-smart.de/) way, I have not had any bad experiences. Hold perhaps not quite as long as originals, they cost only a fraction of but synonymous. Gruss ph

By Canon - Standard Battery BP511 synonymous, I have had very good alien. When SonyFM-50 I have so far relied on originality, would change the next time you want to be unfaithful but synonymous.
And as a reminder has Tip: A (newer) replacement battery is never wrong!
And my first camcorder-Batteries have given up after almost exactly 32 months of their mind within two weeks. Spontaneously and without warning! Better, therefore, conduct themselves in important events s.obigen tip about.
And an extra tip: If it is irreparably, then the gesmate equipment should already be twice or three times so far. An expedition to the Himalayas with a Kamreaausrüstung already suggests a lack of oxygen at sea level conditions close ;-)

Hello, I have since made a funny experience. I bought some for SonyVX2000 Batteries: NP-F 960, 750, 330 All original Batteries. The faithful believe that Batteries have no memory effect, I read the various synonymous battery in the camera when I operate it with links, it is therefore always loaded as synonymous to the Battery. After six months, but the batteries were all together for 30min. empty and could be charged no more synonymous to the old power. Here in the forum someone said, Sony Batteries can be recharged only 500 times. Henceforth, I have removed them when the camera was operated with the network. I always do so. But, oh wonder: With the DC Adapter / Charger DC-V800 could be the Batteries recharge and have since worked to full satisfaction. I invite them not only in the camera.

I have a VQ800, I think that is the same part but for 12V car plant ...
So I can load my own now for almost six years old Batteries and then keep the crib as an evening with good lighting long. The Camera jdeoch they can not invite loaded yet use it for more than a few seconds.
I think that this - admittedly very expensive Battery Charger analyzed the loading better and sends clean electricity, while the camera is probably more cautious and terminates the charging process. I would rather trust synonymous Inziwschen this part.
What, however, time would be an interesting thing, when people their experiences with rechargers for various Sony products would be to report. Vielleciht we are to open a new thread, similar to the "Canon Drive Evergreen"
