The two VHS machines, I'd like a relatively portable DVR to replace the films quickly and directly via USB to the computer to draw.
What would be the best solution?

Data transfer via USB is not the optimal solution. For capturing a Firewire interface certainly better.
Here I see spontaneously 2 options:
s.Videosignal of the VHS-VTR via A / D converter in the PC or
b) VHS Mazen as electronic scrap and dispose of those instead of a JVC SR-DVM600/700 use over a Firewirke interface (analog in / DV out)

what exactly do you mean with DVR? A DV recorder? They have mostly "only" Firewire connections, because that is the standard connection for audio / video in-Comsumer as synonymous in the professional field.

Hi,
just to get this straight. Du film purely analog, did so as an analog tape in the camera. That draw you via Digiwandler of the camera, so then you have a digital format. I think DVR is easy for digital video recorders. What you need is a portable HDD recorder. The recorder is often synonymous have an analog input, but better Firewire. Since I'll assume that your camera has no firewire output, you need necessarily those with analog input.
