Before, I used the MVX3i which, while serving ergonomically and through the optical image stabilization in the Picture was synonymous quiet, but there have this in lowlight too weak and the always-too-large.
A difference in image quality is not to see apart from the slightly higher noise in lowlight with higher gain, too.
Since the Hochkantvormat would still tend to blur animated 'than the Längsform the MVX3i Canon will not give up the optical image stabilizer. Platztechnisch he would have been possible (see MVX4i with virtually identical housing and OIS).
The lack of accessory shoe is very annoying, since it is more than the MVX3i rely on an external Micro (band sounds, breathing of the camera man, scraping the finger ...) to hear everything.
