Hello,
My JVC GR-DVX4 can not recognize the firewire cable. no preference if possible on a PC or MAC, no transfer.
The cable itself is perfectly ok, I tried it with MM with a different camera.
The JVC is running properly, are the first recordings of the Firewire cable has been synonymous detected, then never again.
The camera has been out for repartur, not to determine errors.
Perhaps this has both a tip what could be the reason.

Hello,
I remember s.einen contribution in which was the then owner of a JVC camcorder with only the original of JVC Firewire cable (for 35 ¬! work properly). With no other cables of the camcorder was recognized by the PC.
First, I might even try a regular Firewire cable for 5-10 ¬. ;-)
