After some problems of the JVC GY-HD has 100 fixed now for some time, I think I buy the camcorder. As far as I know, the output is possible on a mobile disk via firewire in HDV1 format. In the studio environment is spent synonymous than 720 50p, if you can believe the brochures.

Had two days ago with the GY-HD 100 and rotated, the material can not use. 25p is rotated and had little evidence in support of an editing software. My mistake with the 25p. You work with a Mac? Sure, an HD-capable editing system you need for an HDV camcorder, lonja.
Also on the PC Page Edius has supported the JVC HD100/101 well as Vegas only in conjunction with the Cineform Intermediate. Adobe should go synonymous - at least on Cineform but (as on the Cineform site please check). So if you could have a PC - well, then you could work with the trial of the Cineform products times, or synonymous with the 30 day trial of Edius.

Lonja, I must correct you there gently but firmly. I myself have cut quite a test film with the JVC HD101. Capture works as stated in Edius, or synonymous with the Cineform Connect HD tool without problems - the cut itself is both in Edius as synonymous in Vegas perfectly (with the intermediate codec in Vegas), there are very well for 720 25p project templates in both programs. One can not say that there are no solutions.

the solution of problems is unfortunately not be able to help, but I did, tell me how it works.
