Frage von FilmMaker:Hello,
next month will be a new Project in attack and had to take the JVC GY-HD100 or the Canon XL-H1 is available and to cut the usual Premiere Pro 2.0.
My question is therefore whether the JVC / Canon Cam is compatible with Premiere and if I have no problems capturing my footage is?
Unfortunately, this was nothing in the forum.
Thank you for your help.

Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 with HDV, although as his problems, but the data of the XLH1 1.080i you can handle. The JVC is 720p with it a little more difficult. This is mostly Liquid or Avid Canopus Edius recommended for processing.

Hope not to be challenged again ;-) But I have the GY-HD200 and the problem is with Magix VDL07 of capture. Initially had only a Windows problem. The 100 should thus synonymous go and then the file passed s.Premiere Pro .-

Hello Amingo,
You might want to have a real time software purchase. For the equivalent of your camcorder :-) Gruß
PS: Good tip with VDL07!

Hi! May well be true, but so badly did not isses. Have to Movie Store on the Amiga started (reverse polish notation! 1994!!) Was briefly at Pinnacle, Premiere had had a test .. so that problems and an urgent appointment because of work I came to VDL. Since I do not for television (cable only smaller) contributions do reichts initially completely. The easy HDV editing surprised me.

mfg So keeping it in VDL when is ok for you. However, it is synonymous surprise me that you do not have more professional software. VDL is also for HDV editing is not very good, the real-time capabilities are rather limited HDV2. But you probably to benefit from the fact that the progressive HDV1 material content but significantly easier to edit, than interlaced HDV2.

Times I would be interested in feedback, with whatever software you've done what experiences in a few weeks.
Antwort von amigo.:
For "professional" software I can say is currently a lack of demand. The camera delivers great pictures, especially hats 720p/50 my eye! There is not much to reimplement. I will but observe the development and, where necessary, decide. If one is accustomed to something, the change is difficult.
