Hi,
I would like to soon buy a larger camera and now try as many details as possible to find. How, then, are your experiences with the JVC GY-HD100 and where is the part of price? 've Somehow on google found no reasonable price. As came out in 2005, is seeking the 6.000/6.500 euro have cost - but how is the current price?

They talk of a software change .... only to see nothing like this. The HW is up to the additional elements are not changed.
Incidentally, there is the camera head (250) in the U.S. for approx. 3,500 $ (without Lens). Just as information and guidance. The head is so up on these weaknesses, quite good and especially great to handle and if you look at a decent lens or a fader is worried about this part so synonymous with magnificent photographs and the appropriate tools is so synonymous 50p ... So with a little effort, the whole again attractive. There is just no Camera you can put in your hand and can take in everything immediately succeeds.

720/50p recording but surely seems to be working quite well. Are the mechanical shortcomings?

If I say NO, then I do JVC probably wrong, because this is the dealer responsible for the absolutely no after-sales service and offers nothing in the grips of: MPEC GmbH in Hamburg.
Because we have the camera in the synonymous use in South America so you have to have a lot of ourselves. But that is synonymous not the normal case.
The crooked Zoom JVC has corrected any case and the infinity stop, we have produced ourselves. Also the other "quirks" we have largely solved with a workaround.
The aperture problems we have with a little overlooked own invention, when p + s now marketed and sold as a device (fader).

Otherwise, as I said, it's really a shame that the Camera durchkonstruiert been no better, because if the entire follow-up behind her, she makes really good pictures.
The 720p50 with the 200 option is the right step and considering that HDTV in Germany anyway 720p50 will be synonymous a sensible format.
