Well, the camera has no IR output / input, only the USB 2.0 connection, but you can at the synonymous use this model as input.

I would be interested if the GZ-MC500 has a DV input or whether there is the possibility of the DV IN Kammera unlock to allow this? No.. DV is not supported for Diersen Camera. The format is MPEG2, JPG and WAV, depending on whether one in the video - Picture or sound mode works.
For the import and export either the built-in USB2 interface is used, or a card reader s.PC or notebook. The video formats can be edited either with the included software, or as synonymous with Pinnacle Studio 9 - at least on my system.
Digitization of external analog sources is not provided with this camera. These lack the appropriate connections (video) Microphone.
Whether a control of the camera functions via USB is possible? According to JVC, no, but maybe it makes itself so someone off and explores the USB stack.
