Frage von Jan:Hello you,
Today was a little sensation of JVC Germany.
I (Saturn) get the JVC PD 1 for 999 ¬.
This means that in the coming weeks are likely to have several of the Saturn price. And with Germany and product warranty.
But to suggest something, if the PD 1 is now rausgehauen. If there but now a HC 1 competitor?
Internet will probably follow suit the next day when I have only seen many serious offers for about 2000 ¬ (Geizkragen.de zb)
If I had more coins, I would buy the piece of gold to close to it .....

That can only mean that JVC has something in the quiver ...
I'm curious.
Thanks for the info, Jan!

It may happen in the 2006 JVC with new devices, which can then be probably 720p - synonymous in the PAL region. Is still no official release date has been announced called - but the device several times.
This will probably be launched a sales campaign, I guess. The price for the PD1 with $ 1000 will be played some time ago via ebay, there even synonymous with Virgin. Even though it was evidently via ebay in the leztzen weeks rather quiet in this regard. I myself have said PD1 only bought something more expensive.
The PD1 is a favorite when it comes to image quality. Comparison of the test material s.Plasma to selbstgefilmten the JVC HD101 has shown a relatively small difference - m2t files played via a PC and windows media player. Also of the page can be the instrument to such a price well recommended. But it's just not a HDV camcorder, but the material is already quite close to HDV.

Hello everyone! 'm New here and since a week the proud owner of this cam!
The GR-PD1 terms of film work can do whatever you want.
From a Saturn Hackler I am told, would be the reason for the drop in prices that soon a 3-chip HDTV version comes on the market. DH. to make the production a the 1 Series. Has for me, however, no disadvantage.
The manual white balance, and are the 50 full frames (progressive mode) full of hammers, I tell you. Seldom have so beautiful pictures made.
The steady leadership is easy because of the weight of the camera. Ok. I work with one steady tripod. But no one gets to shake synonymous pictures. Even without image stabilization, which I think in any case unnecessary.
Who one Wahnsinnscam by 1,000 Brüller seeking access. This camera is comparable to the Sony (see other posts) to about anything. Except for the price. I still Sonyhalte deluxe waste of money for a machine!
Unfortunately, the miracle part is synonymous is a weakness.
Bissl With the synchro on WinXP lagging book. Hab gestern spent 4 hours in order to make Windoze clear that there is a New s.Start.
The calculator asks for a
drivers called AV / C subunit, which I can find anywhere else. Thus only limited opportunities gibts terms of digital editing.
Because Can anyone help? Habs with Pinnacle Studio 9, Adobe Premiere Pro and Ulead tried. In the standard DV - mode no problem. Only the HR not Resolutionpackt the dapper Mirkosoft Calculator.
Conclusion:
Anyone who wants to serve a ProfiCAM should have a professional s.Start synonymous Calculator!
And now guess what I mean?
You guessed it?

The drivers for the PD1 manual should be installed. The exact procedure is described in the Manual of the PD1.

The driver installation is necessary only manually in XP SP1, and has been described several times in the video meeting. From XP SP2, which should not be necessary because the system then automatically detects the PD1.
Details can be found all around in this review (s.end):

Incidentally, the situation here is exactly the same as in the case of the FX1.

Hey man,
Thanks Wolfgang.
I was not sure. Somewhere I once picked up that it would be better to let the fingers of SP2, otherwise it may be even more Probs with the installation.
Another question:
Do you have an idea about this? While I films for several years, but previously only with VHS-C or with a VHS camcorder. Later, I then changed to NVGS1 of Panasonic with the fast s.Grenzen I'm pushed. Sliced And I almost always captured with Pinnacle Studio 8, the late 9th
Jetz, I'm the first Semiprof. Camera and do me a bissi difficulty with certain things.
The high-resolution function is clear to me. With the number of images per second, frames, etc.
Only if I want to edit then spun out of my software. As far as I know, these images are stored in Mpeg2.
What the hell do I need to get to the plate? This works either with premiere pro, even with Pinnacle 9 '. I need about an editing software that supports Mpeg2 capturing or how is it?
I hope you've got an idea. In the jungle of web pages I've lost track a bit.
Thanks in advance!

The PD1 is delivered with a single, small capture software that actually works very well. We must stop installing only the JVC tape driver - as previously described.
Further, possible processing path I've described several times in the video meeting.
