Frage von embee15:Hello,
have a strange problem: My video (created with Medi ULead Studio Pro 7 and then a menu with Nero 7 missed) jerky on the DVD player.
But not always, and always s.unterschiedlichen bodies. Then a misfire of a half second, then it goes next.
If the data rate s.der lie, ie that my DVD player as there is not anything?
The video I've created with a variable data rate of 8000 Kbps.
Antwort von AndyZZ:
The video I've created with a variable data rate of 8000 Kbps. That hardly makes sense! VBR 8000 KBOs not mean that you are an average of 8000 kbits Datenrat have. That means you might have in calm Picture 6500 kbps, with quick shots, but your encoder is probably high up to 9000 kbits. Together with the sound you come on over 9,500 kbits perhaps because the limit is then blown up. Visually you see between 7000 and 9000 kbits with 99% probability of no difference anyway.
Add constant bit rate 8000 kbits one, and you are on the secure page. And the space on your DVD it produces is apparently yes.
VBR uses it when much material is in decent quality on a DVD. Since we are on it and save s.ruhigen sequences s.schnelle data rate and turbulent scenes.

Antwort von embee15:
Ok, will try it today evening the same time, thank you!
The VBR was default in MSP ... ;-)
Antwort von embee15:
And again a long evening over ;-)
I have not made again with a constant data rate of 8000 - the same result again.
The DVD with Nero and I have once again created TMPGENC_DVDAuthor with - again the same result. Ie s.diesen programs does not seem to lie.
Has anyone even a hint?
As I said, it jerky uneven, not always s.den same places. Not only pan (ie interlace no problem).
Antwort von AndyZZ:
As your audio is encoded?
PCM is synonymous kbit 1536 / s, then you blow with 8000 kbps for video is still the maximum data rate.
Make your video again with 6000 kbps and try again.
Put a branded DVD blank disc, not somewhere Billigteil from the nearest supermarket chain.

Andy
Antwort von embee15:
Hello,
Audio is encoded with 228, and the 6000 kbps synonymous have not helped.
Before burning I do the following steps:
- Capturing
- Inserting the date as a subtitle using VirtualDub
I now begin all over again in front of the film before the s.brenne Virtual Dub processing synonymous times, so I know precisely s.welcher point of error is going to come. Perhaps "mess" yes synonymous Virtual Dub my video.
(Dropped frames, I have none)
Antwort von AndyZZ:
Well, then I can help no longer synonymous ....
How to locate more like of you already being considered: Gradually the project back to the error. Now I'd synonymous times on tap Virtual Dub. Are your subtitles permanently displayed? Or do you hide an over the DVD menu on request?
Are Untertitel-Articles/Bilder any) is too large (memory usage?
Greeting
Andy
Antwort von embee15:
The subtitles are very small, containing only the date and time, which changes every minute.
I give notice as the results were ... I'm certainly could ask the question :-)
But now you have brought me an idea ... but that's another post :-)
Antwort von embee15:
People, people, now I'm really plunk down just before the "everything" ...
- Film newly captured (with ULead Media Studio Pro 7, no dropped frames)
- Mpeg file created with MSP, bitrate 5000 kbps
- No subtitles, no use Virtual Dub or other gimmicks
=> Mpeg file easily burned to DVD => everything is working properly
But:
=> Create menu with Nero => jerky
=> Menu created with TMPGEnc DVD Author => jerky
Now I somehow have two starting points that give me little hope: I do it on an external hard drive via USB 2.0, or it is not s.meinem (even old) DVD player.
I nor anyone has any idea how I could find the error?

Do you have the subtitles now completely left out and yet the problems?
Does your video menu with a software DVD player s.Calculator properly?
Which version of Nero do you have? Perhaps there is an update ...
You burn DVD-R or DVD + R? Compatibility problem with your DVD player?
What do you use blanks?
What is your DVD set up menu? Static? Dynamic with background video ....?
Tinker you start a simpelstmenü with only one button: Film and link to your video. No great background images or similar knickknacks.
Good luck ...

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the time that you take you!
Yes, completely without subtitles.
The video jerky s.Notebook when I created the menu with Nero, synonymous. With TMPGEnc DVD Author jerky is only on the DVD player. Also the first time to understand a ...
I have Nero 7, so brand new. I've burned to DVD-RW, the blanks were of Fuji and Philips.
The menu is nothing special, only 6 chapters and a background image and background music. I'll try it tonight once more without Picture and Music
Antwort von embee15:
Just wanted to again give a short answer that I have found the "error":
It is s.meinem DVD player. Another DVD player can play your DVDs without the jerk. Strangely, he has been synonymous made no problems ... no preference, which is dispensable :-)
Nero does not seem quite as clean as it jerky to s.and synonymous in the notebook.
With TMPEGENC DVD Author now runs clean everything - then I'll stay with the stop, is synonymous nothing bad :-)
Nevertheless, thanks for the support of times!
