Frage von Drrichardfahrer:Has anyone of you experience with one or another crane and remote head?
How much does it cost for the remote head of ABC-products?
Has anyone of you experience with Camera turret? Is this quality?

Hi folks.
I got in September 2008, a Kamerkran of Wokatech purchased. The guy building the parts themselves and I am full of enthusiasm to the crane. Habe with Remote Head paid nearly 2k. Weights, however, were not with it.
A small hook is: The two servo motors of the head to a significantly perceptible whistles of itself.
Antwort von r.p.television:
Interesting. You may like some more details betrayed, because I had the seller on Ebay already contacted, but because he shows quite wortarm.
White only so much that the Remote Head weigh only 1.8 pounds to be (which I can hardly believe).
Are the data with the revolutions of the Remote Heads min / max?
And it can run smoothly?
How long do you need the crane ready to build?
The whistling of the engines would be less disruptive to me, because I hardly crane on the internal micro camera would have access. Either via radio link or not.
Antwort von tomaus:
For the construction, which I alone bewrkstelligen may be synonymous, I need about 15 min. The head weighs more than 1.8 kilograms. Have not weighed it yet, but appreciate him for about 3 kg. That part is really good and sophisticated than I even picked up the crane (Bergheim near Cologne) gave me the owner of a super instruction completes me and 2 times the crane to dismantle and leave.
The three aluminum parts, which are very stable are simply put together and are powder coated. How long the whole in rugged outdoor operation remains scratch-free, will tell, but that's not really me important.
With the min / max rotation and tilt can be true when accurate camera-locking act well. I have a DVX 100, or an FX1 and hang off the results are simply great.
I do not want advertising for the manufacturer, but these cranes in quality is clearly more expensive.
Antwort von tomaus:
Goes smoothly, only the vertical swing, the horizontal is stuck in there a little. The Battery (Gel battery) keeps incredibly long. Had the crane 6 hours in continuous operation. No probs, if you consider that the display also will be supplied by the Battery.

I got me a remote head easily built, or built.
we have put quite some time, the whole to go into production, but nothing new so far. cost point was: 200euro!
basic structure is the Glidecam camcrane 300 (500euro usa import), it monitert the self-built remote head: horizontal / vertical with joystick and speed controller. built for the canon xha1, but can be adapted s.ejde camera. quiet and neat-operated
I keep myself on the design by email: office@seb-productions.at

Masterseb Hello!
Your Remote Head I would be very interested! Can you please here are some photos and technical details such as size, weight, power, angle deflections and speeds, etc. to post, please?

@ masterseb
That would interest me synonymous.

now good. what we have because ...
Weight: about 2kg (without a camera of course)
Dimensions: 30x15x4cm (HxWxD)
9v power supply via a lead, but directly synonymous with the corresponding socket on trafo possible due to alligator clips. the control unit (2 joysticks, one for horizontal / vertical and 2 geschwindiglkeitsregler for each direction) will be powered with and directs the power and control cables next. the hardest part is the control board to solder together.
motors: servo motors from the modellbau technology. 6kg tensile possible to create 180grad in 3sec at full tempo.
The head unit is an abrasive contact separately, so the head can rotate 360grad. the platform of the camera detto. is currently our head on the xha1 the umwucht was then calculated for this camera. for larger cameras would u get a platform and attach the new umwucht tare.
you can see in the video quite well I think

Interesting! Thanks for the info! :-)
Do you have plans that the entire control of both axes with a joystick, which is still synonymous depending on the speed of deflection width of the transmitted movement changes, will be accomplished?
Would of course very handy if you move the entire space of the remote head with one hand and without Rotate s.zusätzlichen potentiometers could steer! Could there possibly be a good game joystick from the PC world an approach be?
The Yellow U piece seems still to be made of steel, right? If there were possibly still room the whole head easier to do if you materialmässig still in the direction of aluminum / plastic would optimize?
Please hold us up to date as soon as a really feldtaugliche version is ready! I will gladly do the beta testers-with-option-the-device-on-final-reserve-to-be! ;-)

the joystick, it is clear from history to establish the complex circuitry is not so simple. We had a trial, but really well-controlled device is then not synonymous, because the speed can not regulate well, this is all too difficult elektronik. Hello masterseb,
I do not understand the whole. Synonymous, I would find the solution that Debonnaire describes s.bequemsten. The joystick does nothing other than a potentiometer each direction more or less "aufzudrehen". This is ideal but the speed of a simple electric motor with voltage control scheme. Why all the control electronics? - Around the Stellwegbegrenzung? Or eat the engines so much electricity that the joystick potentiometers would be overloaded?
In conjunction with a small motor with relatively high-speed worm gear and should be given but due to the high gear is a very soft start can be achieved.
I have to say quite clearly that I am not an engineer. My experience based on many hours of my employment uswith Märklin metal kit - and that's 30 years ago ;-)

Arno

well we did and of tried an electrician check .... was not really sorry. you must be very early to decide the direction and thereafter every dimension.
Antwort von ArnAuge:
Yes, I can think for you is because of the size of the load is too high. I am planning just what is in much smaller - only for a Canon HV 30th Since it's already looks different. - Let's see.

Could you perhaps write, as the portable DVD player is exactly? I am looking for is currently one for my HV30 ... would be great, thank you:)
