Frage von aight8:What would you recommend more?
A lavalier mic with cardioid or full?
Antwort von Bernd E.:
What do you mean with "full"? The usual alternatives are ball and kidney, and I have been brought forward because of the less problematic handling the ball more. In a disciplined speaker (not so spontaneously turns his head in the wrong direction away from the micro) and / or in noisy environments, however, the kidney may well have advantages.
Antwort von aight8:
Of course, my ball, I had the term not in degree of sense;)
That's what I meant. Yes, I think I'd rather go to a safe and take the ball. Then I can at the other person is not a mic. record has on it with, that's certainly not as long as benefit in any person with such a system.
By the way: In my Shotgut Mic. s.meiner the cam is connected, I often have a similar problem. I film so mannchmal only a face in a group if a different person now begins to chat, I'm not even in it at least with the sound, only if I change my at least in the long shot. Therefore I have even asked whether an on-cam mic. a cardioid villeicht but would not be better.
.. because I must always take into account the sound during the shoot and make sure the sound "mitaufzufangen.

Evenin aight ... I think you bring as an occasional bissl confused what;) If yes synonymous not so easy ...
"Shotguns" are usually designed as a kidney / Supercardioid ...
But of course do not know what a microphone you currently are using concrete.
for omni-directional lapel:
Do not expect that you at a ball the opposite lapel microphone with good people get on it .. this is a fallacy. Since the people have already tight seeeeehr stand together to get a clean sound ... especially in regard to your disco scenes from the other thread that you clearly intended:) This is not good.
