Comfortable cutting incl overview over the raw material actually requires a generously sized 2-monitor system. I have my first movies with Premiere 4.2 yet on a 14 "tube monitor with 800 x 600 resolution Sliced, and it was somehow synonymous.
I know not whether Premiere Pro has a lock, the use of low-resolution monitors prevented if yes, this is surely through the program interface justified. Where case, then you have an older software. The finished film can be seen not to what he has been cut (as long as it is native DV editing is).

Premiere is synonymous 1280x800. Thanks to the widescreen, you can work surface very well accomplished synonymous. Is of course no comparison to his two-monitor system, but this is one stop mobile.

1280x800 is already. You have to stop a bit to arrange. But just when you preview an external monitor connected, it can absolutely no problem - as long as you have no more than 4 audio and video tracks have.

Hi,
here again the very top of, but as a guest ... so after I now have equipment at home,
I can only say: 14'1 inches at 1280x800 seems to me totally ok, if a second screen
is tuned. Advantage of mobility, since the NB is really nice and small times (incidentally super and Screen
vague and not well lit).
