Did the notebook from Aldi, (bought ¬ 1500).
Now I want to burn videos to CD / DVD.
According to the description geht das
S Video out and input.
Audio in jack, MS Movie Maker.
Analog VCR with 2 scart sockets.
I made the following;
1 Scart Male with S video out and red / black RCA to 3.5 times for audio jack.
S-video cable and scart s.Notebook times.
Then I tested both scart connections on the VCR.
Does nothing, there is no picture and no sound in the Movie Maker preview.
Can one please help me!

Your recorders has an analog output. you need one analog -> digital converter for it otherwise you can not. Things are not always cheap, but if you own a miniDV camera is not just only cost is 200 ¬, so what is good or less, then you can use as a transformer.

may be natural that the "input" is only one output ...
But, from a VHS recorder comes out is usually no S-video signal, but CVBS / Composite! Unless there is an S-VHS recorder.
If you hear no sound, it can be:
- You've really caught the line-in jack?
- Is s.der the sound card Line-In open at Play? (Windows volume control use)
- Have you s.deinem VCR using a scart adapter which is connected to INPUT?
When you hear the sound, you need only a composite ENTRANCE!
