I want my laptop (Medion) as a monitor for my Sony DV Camera DCR-PC1E, but I get the stamina is not synonymous with that. Who can help me or give advice

A live broadcast while recording is possible with DV, the best display quality but then you get on a regular on the "video out" connected television. Otherwise it looks when you are recording will play immediately afterwards. Recording can capture = yes probably synonymous to the Windows Movie Maker. I do it either through an external TV card (integrated course is better). This has an S-video input. When I preview the picture, I can simply wish to record the program of using WinTV. Another possibility would be firewire, but only for shorter distances of appropriate, since the cable will cost a lot.
