I have several *. mov files with over 300 MB. The QuickTime Player can not play files of this size, however. What can I do to be able to watch these movies to me anyway? Or how, and how can I convert them? Have been synonymous synonymous überleget Quick Time to buy, but where there is the download except for what I is not possible. Braüchte because I was on CD. And that really solves my problem? Anyone who has experience with it?

So really it's QT no preference how big the movie is (no preference whether QTPlayer or QTPro) ... Does this file is not synonymous s.andern computers? You may be the correct codec is missing on your system?

So I installed the QTPlayer under NT as he pretends, and so far everything went perfectly. Only *. mov files over 300 MB is not. And there have been accumulated two, which I unfortunately can not watch. Pas Well, I always do, and only short movies.
As an idea I had only thought it might be the fact that it is only the free player. Codec `s I know nothing.
So you can play files over 300 MB with the player? Then why not buy me I need QT.
But if they do, where do I get him in a package with CD. I can not download it, have only one private StandAllonePC.
Do I have to wait until I can solve dan next problem. Thanks

So I have QT files that are larger than 300MB, and can look at this on W2K and XP machines ...
Regarding the purchase of a CD with QT as there are many possibilities -> a nice colleague, the jobs in the company, a computer magazine, etc., etc.
There should be no problems - possible cause of your problem could perhaps use the mitllerweile "unsupporteten" NT type solution??
Or do you mean with NT, W2K, perhaps??

Hello Strahlemann,
no, because I've lost me. I thought Windows XP! Sorry.
But if you have to go say so, I bing the file times with the office tomorrow (version D 6) and try it here. But s.sich the current version would have to be at home. The PC is only a year old.
And if I think I want to buy QuickTime, I do not mean the player uses to get everywhere, but the full version of QuickTime Pro. Costs almost 30 ¬.
So tomorrow I say again notice if it ran.

Hello Strahlemann,
've tried it here before, but it is not synonymous works. As the message I get here synonymous with W2K, as elsewhere in XP:
"The opening of the file P11500007.mov is not possible, because this is not a file, which of QuickTime can be processed."
If the file size under 300 MB but it would go.
So then you have no idea synonymous to me more as I watch these movies do? Or what and how I can convert them or to share it to me in sight?
Do I have to wait just what bingt the future s.neuen programs and try it every now and again.
