Frage von kalteis:Hello Forum!
I bought a Letus 35mm and a Canon FD 28mm lens was already there. Now I want to buy one less wide-angle lens.
My question s.euch because I am with very few know much about lenses, which combines the values Lens or maximum depth UN sharpness and decent angle? I would not ever have to wegstehen 10m from the face (in some of the rooms where we film) and zoom in absolutely impossible to reach this part of the required looks to your experience, what the Lens (Canon Mount) would you recommend?
I film on a SonyHDR FX7, in the spaces we light up the background with Bauscheinwerfern from and for the people in the foreground, we use a Kinoflo. When we filmed outdoors, which is rather rare, with sunlight and 2 reflectors and the Kinoflo.
Thank you in advance and best regards

first what you mean by decent angle?
a Canon fd 50mm 1:1.4 or 1:1.8, and would be a good fit, even better for head size from about 3-4m one 85mm 1:1.8 or as an expensive model with 1:1.2 l , but with very little depth of field.
