Hi,
I am new to the forum and I know not so good, hope the issue is correctly placed.
I have massive problems with the lighting.
The most important facts:
1st The aim is to illuminate a basement room, size 25 m², Camera distance about 3 m, homemade backdrop, I want to shoot a DVD-Video, it must be primarily a Moderator filmed,
2nd My Previous features: 4 DTS Scena light 300 - 1000 W Fresnel, diffusion film, tripods
3rd My problem: the lights blinded the moderator too much of the top I can not shed light as low ceiling when I lower the headlights with display fittings, lamps, it is too dark, and when I tried indirect lighting is too dark it synonymous, and if I with the headlights with eg 500 watts full objectives on the moderator, is again dazzled the full; diffusion films provide sufficient improvement, but still insufficient;
I read again and again for months across the internet, and find no easy solution, some one should write with Softboxes work, but then I wonder what you can do my headlights at all?
For help I would be very grateful.

Experiments the moderator rather sideways instead of directly in front of light. A high glare headlights if they have seem to come out of sight. If so look in the moderator de Camera, the headlights should go as far to away from view (classical three-point lighting does not vary).

the closer the lamps placed s.set, the steeper angle of the light -> less dazzling effect, 45grad of above are a good starting point blend between liberty and suitable lighting (keyword nose shadow).
should be the space obtained with the moderator to be low, another possibility would be to let the moderator sitting, you win so quasi s.deckenhöhe 1m to shine.

Habs once flew over, that's really good, as many concrete examples, I will reinziehen me today, but there are many examples used in either a softbox or a reflector, because I probably will not buy another one to come help, or what do You? I have until now only the DTS-headlamp with Fresnel lens. Can you do such a spotlight to buy a softbox? I've found nothing on the Internet to do so. shall hold a softbox from this heat?

Rather than put money in a reflector shield, but try it once with two large styrofoam plates from the hardware store. The cost is not the world and you they can easily attach s.den walls and work with indirect light.
On the subject of heat and softbox I can tell you, unfortunately, synonymous to say anything. Perhaps a very thin white fabric of the ceiling (clothes line) before the lights hang?

1000W in 25 square meters, I feel as something inappropriate.
Otherwise, as already discussed with polystyrene reflectors work.
