After the installation and the required reboot, as a prize a beautiful blue screen. An uninstall of Light Works including Matrox Drivers unfortunately did not help. Just install Windows again ......
The configuration I used:
Windows XP Pro SP3
NVidia 9800 GTX
So beware, its cool man:)
(MAC is still running.)

no way. Even repair mode did not help. Repair installation is synonymous with just broken off an internal error.
So once again safe mode. Something has broken s.dem video driver well.

I've had good luck then yes. but went on the pc again, but no trace of light works. installed again, this time was no more restart needed (???), start but does not yet light works. it loads all the drivers or what ever and then is synonymous once again gone. n.was is going on

When you first start the installation folder of the Start "ntcardvt.exe" to get directly into the program and everything should work properly. If one then has created a project, it should be the next time synonymous with the work from the desktop shortcut.
Although this is only a temporary solution that avoids the real problem first, but for quick testing it's sufficient.

So far I did not know that Lightworks so deep into the system engages and installed there synonymous Drivers. Now I make a backup first synonymous.

Regular image creation belongs imho in a professional environment, simply. The few minutes it takes about a true image for it, stand in no relation with the Problmeen that you einhandelt without.

... it work for me without doing any damage (in WINDOWS 7 on iMac Core Duo, 2 MHz) has. We'll see ...

Easily installed and launched via ntcardvt.exe. Next we go from icon synonymous. Could be just a small error. Otherwise environment used to. Maybe there so even a tutorial ;-)
So far, no crash

A software in beta Statium should not destroy an operating system.
Even a pre alpha, I would so not trust anything.
A software as a beta issue in the problems reported by some users (apart of mine) is more of an insult.

Simple, we use no Windows. We use Macs. And many RAIDs, multiple RAIDs for archiving, a RAID-5 to work. Part on e-SATA-based, in part over Fibre Channel. Our Macs never shoot their operating system. If one of our drives or SSDs really do not should ever, 20 minutes later, OS X installed on it again.
