Infoseite // Loss of quality in Premiere CS5?

Hi,

I have a problem with the video processing in Premiere CS5. Picture is indeed worth a thousand words, but a brief explanation is in order:

I use the Canon HF11 to create videos. I am here long ago noticed that the play of which it produces. Mts files in VLC player much better, but look above all else, as what issues first for (seemingly) high quality encoding.

The following is a Comparison of two snapshots. First, directly from the. Mts file. Then the same section of the video, which was exported by Premiere CS5 with the default setting h264, high quality 1080p25 (32mps rate target)

And the rest is somehow logical - already compressed format will be better if they are compressed again, no preference is what the data rate.

Not true.
(Unless you look at it "under the microscope")

I would rather suspect, Premiere has a crappy deinterlacer makes the 50i from 25p.
