Good evening,
looking for my 15 year old nephew, who has first steps with video behind it, a camcorder that records in standard definition, as he just a fairly old PC to cut at his disposal and I did not synonymous nor can give a new calculator for Christmas ;-).
Since my sister is a single parent, she did not make the potential gifts in this price range. Therefore, and because I think it is an interesting and useful pastime, I agreed to take care of appropriate equipment.
My question is whether it is still worthwhile, an older mini-DV camcorder models such as buying the Panasonic NV-GS 400 or the like, or if I better concentrate on the new SD-Card standard definition camcorder, the renowned provider?
As I have since my upgrade to HD video is no longer employed with standard definition, I'm a little behind the mountain as far as these devices.
Since the computer of my nephew not have a FireWire input seems to have is either a retrofit of the same or I equate to current models that transmit using a USB data.
It would be important to me to be acquired camcorder that this as much Wide Anglehat or a threaded Dena end s.der front lens, at least with WW converters elaborate, there is good automatic functions, standard shoe and if possible synonymous a good working focus ring for manual work.
Have already used the search function and am almost exclusively for 3 years or older posts stumbled, who have helped me not really next.
'm Willing to spend up to a maximum of 250 ¬ for a cam, I will still provide Tripod and other small items to and otherwise the whole thing personally for me is no longer financially viable.

I doubt that a 15 year old like how you set priorities. After your considerations would certainly be a DV camcorder (if you still get a brand new) is the better choice. A 15 year old would appreciate a modern device with cards recording perhaps more. Remember that this is a gift and not a device is for you.
Used GS 400 traded are still high and not to get for 250 ¬.

This sounds plausible ;-). Have not had any price searches, such as the used prices are in some mini-DV models.
Wide Angleist but nevertheless important, as it probably mostly filmed in the apartment and has filmed.
