The USB Videograbber make mostly mpeg2 halt. Improved analog to digital converter can generate AVI synonymous.

Understand ... Thus seems as if compressed as MPEG2 or AVI. Would naturally like 'ne Qual, with which he is still next work. :)

Most are USB-grabber about 9Mbit / s long-gop mpeg2 interlaced produce. This is the maximum of the video is DVD compliant (well progressive synonymous heard about this yet). long-gop is short, while a group of pictures will be the first as a full picture, the following "pictures" with the only difference for the first saved.
AVI (DV-AVI, not divx AVI) has 25MBit / s of each picture or frame picture so as a full 25 frames / s progressive.
