Frage von pubanz:Hello,
I tape a question about MPEG export to DV:
I can based on my hard drive not to small AVI video (for playout via Premiere of distress is indeed produce). (apart from the export will take longer than the film itself)
So someone has an idea how I play the MPEG movie directly via firewire on the camera (Canon XM-1) and simultaneously escape the "AVI forced into them?
Many greetings and thanks in advance!
Christian

I do not synonymous understand why you must create an AVI movie. Premiere synonymous (in older versions s.6.0) can spend it directly from the timeline to DV. You need to no additional disk space.
Edit: I get it now that your film has a MPEG (possibly from another source is present), and you still have him on IR get. If the tip of Stefan does not work, only helps drive a larger / additional hard. The former is already at work with Premiere or later be necessary.

Initially, the program worked, I could see my MPG video via firewire on the display of the XM1, but unfortunately quite laaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnngggggggggsssssaaaaaaaaaaammmmm
And ruckelartig. Then I've changed anything in the settings (please do not ask what-I do not know myself more) and now, let's not at all ...:-)
But I'm currently synonymous my plate quite full-I am working on the Open Channel and need the MPEG file before Christmas on tape (is) a pre-Christmas post with content. At the moment I cut another grad s.einem Project when finished, the plate is free and can then convert the MPEG to AVI. Thank you for your help!

What you have seen in the viewfinder of your camera, which was built in Premiere Preview option via Firewire. This is veeery slowly went, is due to premiere so that out of your files on the timeline erstmal must render an AVI file. Play out on camera only works as AVI, nothing else. And even if you do not as AVI zwischenspeicherst at the plate, but Premiere does nothing but create a temporary AVI file, it) then transferred to the complete rendering in one go to play to the camera (film.
You have no chance of an MPEG2 file to DV tape to get them in your XM2.
Ne you purchase a new hard drive, but cost only "nen nen Appel and egg". Place one can never have enough.
