Frage von spiritus:hello people,
I've searched but found nothing that helps me .. it would be great if you could help me.
I have now bought the JVC camcorder and 120 ms gs premiere as program adobe pro 1.5 ..
great program, only the file format does not support mpeg2.
and if I convert to avi, then appears the message that the file has an unsupported compression.
the included software of jvc is good for me not so, I would very much with my premiere - cutting program.
, I will not return my cam, she is just great, but when it actually does not work, that I can work on adobe, will probably not gone past it.
mfg, nico.

Please try again with super views, a very good conversion program.
Does the Internet and I have always served us well.
Antwort von cutaway:
Hi,
Premiere can handle MPEG 1.5 at all? Possibly. update?
Greetings cutaway
Antwort von srone:
avi format as a container, may then be in there virtually every codec for premiere, it should then be already dv-avi.

Antwort von spiritus:
mpeg it can not handle at all. unfortunately!
the super program looks pretty complicated. ^ ^
one can say in general that with a little time it will work out?
Since I'd love to know if I should return my camcorder, and will buy me a new ..
mpeg but is really a standart format??
Antwort von spiritus:
I have now with the super converter to convert AVI, it was re-inserted in adobe premier pro and it comes back an error message:
The file does not know on a supported compression.

with the mp3 codec
Antwort von srone:
with the mp3 codec the audio is, you mean mp4, but unfortunately can not synonymous premiere as you have already noticed 1.5.
why not just try it with the DV-codec, as of me already posted above, namely to make it work. ;-)

... Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 does not support mpeg2 ... ... In Premiere, I wonder indeed no longer what this program can obviously not everything, but it is not really cope with MPEG2 video in standard definition? Seems a little strange, because after all, this premiere version can handle HDV - and that is also MPEG2.
Antwort von srone:
@ Bernd e.
hdv was submitted later not only via 1.5.1 update?
@ Spiritus
do you have 1.5.0 or 1.5.1?
may play only update and try again?

Antwort von spiritus:
it's an older version synonymous. version could be cut before the hd.
now I can do it, both to convert so that it assumes premiere.
a lucky ^ ^.
However, the dateisehr very large. probably can not change that.
Many many thanks for your quick and vieeelen nice help!
really great of you.
liebe grüße,

Antwort von srone:
simultaneously.
please you.
yes dv-avis are very large, but well-cut.

... @ Bernd e. ... was filed later hdv not only via 1.5.1 update? ... Looks quite so because of your links from and perhaps even then the fix solves the problem of the thread starter. However, I can not believe right that SD MPEG2 has shown to Premiere Pro 1.5 an insurmountable hurdle. But well, if it is so, then it is so.
Antwort von spiritus:
So I have 1.5. not 1.5.1.
but my first video is cut.
However, it is so, if I want to do slow motion, it is worse than even on the camera directly. only say the individual images. make sound slowly goes fine, but just not a visual ..
too bad, I guess it is up to convert.
what would you recommend me to
MPEG2 to DV-AVI with mp3 convert sound? super works really well, but there is motion just the problem with the slow, that works so badly ..
