I am looking for alternatives or experience reports of MPEG2 realtime Hardwarencoder. Currently I only have the HD-MPEG2 Encoder - Orca of Doremi found.

My Purpose: A VTR or Camera s.den encoder on the LAN with a calculator is connected. The encoder is me in real time on the final play MPEG2 file supplied.

It would be helpful to know what connections are needed and what format of the Camera come (HD / SD).

Yes of course. So SDI (of Digibeta) should already be there. Of course, the HD Resolutionauch interesting. Perhaps there is already MPEG4 encoder synonymous?
