Frage von TobyL:Hello,
I have several mpeg files (mpg2 for dvd), but it can both premiere pro 1.5 do not open (crash) as synonymous in afterfx 6.5 (error 55 § 33)).
The files I can watch them on any player.
how can I convert the files now, Get back to DV?
Many greetings
Toby
Antwort von Acer:
In DV as I know you can not mpeg2 format. mpeg2 is a compression of the original, so qualitatively worse.
If you can open it net, I would say that you ever try on it to import. But I know net whether Premiere Pro supports a feature for importing of data from a completed DVD.

I think that it is möglichb. Copy the files of the DVD, then call them all. Vob files to. To mpg. The other (bup and ifo) you can delete. Then import the mpg into Premiere and deliver them from behind as a DV AVI. Although qualitatively not as good as raw DV-AVI, but it is DV-AVI.
Antwort von TobyL:
yes,
the problem is (as I have done that with the renaming) that Premiere and AE with the mpg files not zurrechtkommt. There is another tool, which is mpeg2 to avi convertiert (qualitative secondary)?

Antwort von Axel:
There are countless tools with clever names (google), which converted back to mpeg2 DV (Oops! NTSC and PAL differ). As Acer writes, the quality suffers. For example, menuClip it would be enough. To my knowledge, supported premiere (which version I do not know) as well as the processing of Mpeg2, at least since HDV is editable. The rendering is in a DV project, of course, the same loss of quality as in the
stand-alone tools. The latter synonymous render a little faster.
Antwort von Voltz:
If I need something now and again, then I reach back to TREX. My PCTV SAT at the time was a full version.
